Project Coordinator

Primary Purpose

The incumbent is responsible for coordinating several ongoing projects, including but not limited to the annual scanning of the CEMC multiple-choice contest forms for several contests, the CEMC database of photos and other media items, bi-lingual web site content and design and managing the development and evolution of technical documents.

Key Accountabilities:

1.Manage technical documents



2.Develop and maintain the CEMC database of event photos



3.Coordinate scanning of CEMC contest multiple choice answer forms.



4.CEMC web site updates

Position Requirements


College level diploma or equivalent with experience with web and graphic design


2-3 years experience in related positions


MS Word Excel PowerPoint Other
Intermediate Intermediate Advanced
  • Advanced experience with graphic and web design/content software, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Professional, Dreamweaver and HTML
  • Knowledge of LaTeX
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office suite of software
  • Create camera ready documents for large scale publications; create and manipulate photos

Makes decisions about details of events (time, location, etc.) subject to overall plans and budget.

Physical and Sensory Demands:

Minimal physical demands typical of an administrative position within an office environment—occasional extended periods of standing/walking during scanning operations.

Heightened sensory awareness required when working with images, manipulating photos and other creative work.

Working Hours:   Regular working hours—some flex time required during busier contest times and/or to meet web upload deadlines.
